QUESTION:
Susan,
I will be coming to see you next week for a private reading. Will you please tell me what to expect and also what you need to know from me and about me to have a good reading. Also, how can I expect to feel several days after the reading. I'm trying not to have a set of expectations when I arrive.
Eagerly,
GM

Dear G.
First, no need to supply us with details of what you are searching for. It's usually much more satisfying for you to have certain things brought up and validated by Spirit before you share the details. That's just a natural phenomenon of the reading process. We all want to believe this process is legitimate (when we are receive a reading) but on the other hand we all have a degree of skepticisim. Hearing things from the medium that they could not possibly know other than by receiving it from our guides and/or loved ones really bolsters our faith/belief, and makes for a satisfying experience.Sometimes it's not so much what is said but the way it is said, with the personality of your loved one so evident. The actual process is very simple and comfortable. Susan is not a trance medium so she's fully awake and alert during the reading. We just sit in our living room and have a friendly and loving conversation. The only thing different is that we invite your guides, teachers and loved ones in spirit to join us. Since neither you nor I are likely able to hear them — Susan speaks on their behalf.Spirit communicates with Susan through the thought process, symbols, feelings, impressions, visions, sometimes writing things out on her third-eye-chalkboard, and sometimes emotions. It's a facinating process — but don't ask us how it works this way as opposed to some other way. We haven't a clue. The session lasts from an hour to an hour and a half and we record it for you.The current total cost of the private reading is $350 and payment can be made in cash, personal check or Master Card or Visa. Whichever is most convienient to you.Not having "expectations" as you say is a great way to enter into the reading. The ability to go with the flow and to allow and accept what happens when it happens and in the order it happens will give you the most satisfying result. (Being able to get to that space is not easy -- but it's worth a try.)You ask what to expect the several days after the session with us. Interesting question. No reading-hangovers have been reported. Everyone processes information differently — both on an emotional and intellectual level. All the feedback we've received has indicated various levels of healing, peace and comfort set in. That's why we're in this business.Well, in truth we've had several folks over the years who came away from their reading feeling dissatisfied with the information they received, and one who was convinced we were charlatans and scam artists. (She wanted her deceased mother to tell her that "Yes! Your dad did kill me!" When her mother told her that was not the case and to get off her dad's back, needless to say she was not believing that was her mom talking! Oh well!)

QUESTION:
Susan,Over the past year I have
had readings by two different mediums. I was disappointed with
both because they could not give me proof I was speaking with
my loved one. I was
looking for at least his name, or even the nickname my dad used
to call me. You have been
so highly recommended, and have been presented to me by friends
as being above reproach, can you do that for me?
LS
Dear L,
I sure wish I knew the answer to this one. I can only pass on to you what spirit supplies me. During many of my readings names are given by those in spirit — leaving no doubt in the person's mind that they are speaking with their loved one. Why this doesn't happen every time, I have no way of knowing. When God gave me this gift to communicate with deceased loved ones — I really didn't want to do it. I had this feeling of not being worthy. Growing up with low self esteem and to be placed into a situation where most are searching for proof, well that was a bit much for me to deal with. When folks would ask me to come up with a favorite song, a nickname or a favorite food — I would just freeze up. My own mind literally got in the way of the information flow. I'm doing better at not feeling my credibility is somehow being questioned when folks express a need for specific validation. There are countless readings where names are not mentioned, yet because of the content of things that are said, the way they are presented and feelings that are expressed, the person receiving the reading comes away with an undeniable knowing that they were communicating with their loved one(s). My advice for folks who need specific names, dates, etc. to satisfy their need for proof, is to relax, and before the reading throw out to your loved one (through the thought process) that you would like them to pass on through the medium anything that will help you realize that you are communicating with them. I would just ask of those who are thinking about arranging a reading session with me -- if you are seeking a reading out of curiosity or strictly from an ego oriented motivation, or with a very skeptical mind, please look to someone else. Those readings are never satisfying -- for either of us.As for your question if I can prove anything to you -- the answer is no! Spirit has told me that with this gift my job is not to prove anything — just allow the flow of information to come through me, and Spirit will take it from that point!I hope this helps.
With love,
Susan
QUESTION:
Dear Milt,
You mentioned in your note that you had many "clients" in my area of the country. That leads me to believe people contact you for follow up readings and not just have one. Is that correct?
Love,
Laura
Florida
Hi Laura,
Yes, many do contact us for follow up readings. I'd say the majority have a single reading and that satisfies their need — usually to communicate with a loved one in spirit. On the other hand it seems Spirit leads many folks to us who have begun or are about to begin their spiritual journey to find and understand their purpose. Those are usually the folks who check in either once a month or every three months, six months, etc., to receive "check-ups" or "tune-ups" if you will. Much of those sessions have to do with healing from past hurts, that wounded child within.Once the wounds have been healed the individual finds old negative patterns now easy to break, then finding more clarity as to their life's direction which leads to joy, peace, happiness and especially love!Since Jesus and Mother Mary have become regulars in our readings, we have been told (by them) they will always be there to answer direct questions our clients might ask of them. (Both general and specific.)Because we have had past association with the wonderful Edgar Cayce, we asked him if he would also be available to our clients to answer their questions regarding their health concerns. He has agreed and we've called upon him on many occasions. Those folks who have connected with loved ones in spirit through Susan, and continue to feel the need to reconnect with them from time to time usually have a reading once a year, perhaps around an important date, like birthday, Christmas, anniversary etc.Our follow-up tune-up readings are of 30-minute duration and the current cost is $100. We also record them for our client. Hope this answers your question Laura.
Our love,
Milt
QUESTION:
Susan,
I am still so confused about my journey.
I have a sister-in-law and friends at church who are concerned
that I am aligning myself with something that is not of the Lord
because I am thinking about having a reading from a spiritual
medium. Also, I have read many strange things on the internet
pertaining to the metaphysical, healings, etc.
I feel receiving guidance from Spirit and communicating with
loved ones would be so healing for me, but the one I had hoped
would understand, has caused me a seed of doubt by the Christianity
she so devoutly lives today. She told me that Satan can appear
as a light of God and allow you access to information that would
give me healing and take me further away from the light of Christ.
My intuition tells me she is wrong. Do I have reason to fear
this?
DL
Dear D.,
Thank you for sharing your heart and believe me I do understand
what you are feeling, as I have experienced the same fears. First
of all the Bible teaches that "Fear is not of God!"
So anyone who suggests you to be afraid or fearful of where your
heart is leading you is not coming from the place of God, which
is Love. Also understand that we each need to
find our own truth not what a friend believes or what a medium
tells you. I can not tell you what is truth, I only can validate
that which you already have come to understand within yourself
is true. Do what I did. Ask God to give you His truth. Don't
look to friends or strangers for truth, look only to God.
Ask and you shall receive. When you pray to God, you only get God.
God can not be usurped by anything else. Therefore you have
nothing to fear. A good barometer to go by is "By
their fruits you shall know them." This is from Galatians
Chapter 5 in the Bible: "When you follow your own wrong
inclinations your lives will produce these evil results: impure
thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, idolatry, hatred and
fighting, jealousy and anger, constant effort to get the best
for yourself, complaints and criticisms, the feeling that
everyone else is wrong except those in your own little group (sounds like what many Christians do, doesn't it), envy, murder,
drunkenness, wild parties, and all that sort of thing. ""But when the Holy Spirit controls
our lives and decisions -- He will produce this kind of fruit
in us: love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control; and there is no conflict."Has where you have been lead Spiritually
caused you to hate, envy, anger or has it caused love, joy, peace.
"Satan" does not heal, his energy is destructive leading
you to feel further separated from God. God's love brings together
and heals the separation, not only from Him but also the separation
from each other, because each of us are of God. Most of us just
don't remember it. There is no right or wrong way to find
God. Each person has a personal spiritual journey that they alone
must take. The Holy Spirit will lead you in the way that is best
for you. Listen to that inner voice. Stand in the truth of who
YOU are, not in what other people believe. I certainly feel your
pain and confusion and wish I could wipe it all away. But I can
not. Call upon God, and only God, to show you Truth. He will!
Ask Him to bring experiences into your life that will validate
to you that you are on the right path. Only God can validate
to you what is truth. Not your friends and even not me.In the mediumship I do now, and what
truth God has revealed to me personally, I have found love, joy,
peace, patience and miracles. Never ever negativity. Sadly,
I didn't experience those wonderful feelings in my fundamentalist
Christian beliefs before I awakened. I firmly believe in the presence of
God, Christ and the Holy Spirit in my life. I pray and call upon
them daily. That has never changed. What has changed is the release
from fear that came when I starting searching for God. I searched
not outside of myself and in what others believed, but within
myself where He resides. And as you listen to God within you,
you will come to realize that in reality there is no Satan. He
was an illusion. You will soon find there is only Love and you
will find God in everything. Even what some consider "evil".I hope this helps you in some way and
know that we will be praying for you. It seems your Christian
friends are not going to understand this because they are not
ready. Just ask God to help you love them unconditionally no
matter, whether they accept your newly emerging beliefs or not.
With Love,
Susan
QUESTION:
Dear Susan
,I am not too certain I believe in Psychic Readings, but if there is some validity and there is indeed peace to be had, I would be grateful for a reading. May I have your next available appointment?
C.A.
Hi C.,
Thanks for your note and your honesty. There's nothing wrong with being skeptical. It's good to question your beliefs. I was at the same point six years ago. However, over the past five months I have done readings for five people who all shared the fact of their skepticism with me before the readings -- and none of the readings flowed well at all. Since I've done over 1,500 successful readings where skepticism did not enter the equation I've got to believe that the individual's doubt plays a big part in blocking the flow of information from spirit. A non-productive reading is disheartening to not only the person receiving but also myself so I've decided not to read for folks who are still trying to find an answer to the question "Is this really authentic and true?"I hope you can understand my position. Milt and I will pray that you find the peace and relief for which you search. Pray that God will show you truth.
Our love,
Susan
